‘They called me a black cat…’ Priyanka Chopra revealed about Bollywood

Priyanka Chopra has become a world star. She is working side by side with big stars from Bollywood to Hollywood. At present, Priyanka is not only a great actress but also a producer, author and businesswoman. However, Priyanka Chopra has faced many problems during her career. During an interview, Priyanka Chopra said that she had to face body shaming and was called various names.

Priyanka Chopra won the title of Miss India in the year 2000. After this, in the year 2002, she started her career with the movie Hero, in which she was seen together with Sunny Deol. In a conversation with the BBC, Priyanka Chopra revealed that she was called by different names from her because of her color.


Priyanka Chopra said: ‘They called me black and dark cat. I want to say what is the meaning of dark in a country where most people are brown. I felt that I am not very beautiful, so I will have to work harder. However, I also felt that she was a bit more talented than my co-stars, even though her skin was lighter than mine.

During the interview, Priyanka (Priyanka Chopra) also talked about favoritism regarding her fees in movies. He said: ‘I didn’t get even 10 per cent of the fees from the male co-actors. I used to think that waiting for the mail co-actor on set is no big deal. Speaking of Priyanka’s work front, she will be seen in the sci-fi drama series Citadel. Apart from this, she has the movie ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, in which she will be seen with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
