There were many rumors that Garmin would present its new line of smartwatches at this year’s CES edition, but the brand preferred to wait a little longer and has now just revealed the new Fenix 7 series that includes three models: 7, 7S and 7X. .
And the highlight goes directly to the battery life of each of the models in the series, which, thanks to integrated solar charging functions, offer hours and hours of use.
According to Garmin, the model 7 has an autonomy of 90 hours, but if the solar charge is activated, the battery gains more hours, thus offering 162 hours. In the case of the Fenix 7S, the battery has a useful life of 136 hours, which can reach 289 hours, powered by solar energy. Finally, the Fenix 7X has an autonomy of 213 hours, which increases to 578 hours with solar charging, which means that it can work 24 consecutive days.
Precise geolocation in challenging GPS environments

Another highlight of the new Garmin Fenix 7 line is that in addition to integrating support for the main satellite systems, it also works with the L5 frequency band to provide more precision on the geographical location “in challenging GPS environments,” he clarifies. he marks.
