The images were shared by a user of the Chinese social network Billibilli, although they have already been removed.
In the screenshots, we see two social media apps running on Windows 11, but the most curious thing is that we see two instances of the WeChat app running on the Windows 11 taskbar. You can see that WeChat is apparently running in two completely different parts of the application.
Multi-instance support for Android apps on Windows 11 would be very interesting, especially considering that many Android phones don’t support this type of feature.
This could help a lot with multitasking, but we don’t know the full scope of this feature or if applications need to be specifically programmed to support multiple application instances.
Also, we know that Android app windows will behave mostly like any other Windows app.
You can change the size of windows or adjust them to the sides of the screen and pin applications to the Start menu or taskbar. Applications can also support mouse, keyboard and touch, among other things. However, it has not been confirmed whether an Android app will be able to use the webcam for video.
