At the end of each working week, the Dutch crypto exchange Bitvavo lists which altcoins were traded the most in the previous week. Usually this is Bitcoin (BTC), but sometimes it is completely different coins. There were two young altcoins in the top 5 this week.

Small cryptocurrency most popular on Bitvavo
On the social media platform X, Bitvavo announced on Friday morning that the altcoin super fresh (SUPER) had the highest volume in the last five days. According to CoinGecko, this token ranks 234th among all cryptocurrencies and has a market cap of just $164 million, but is big enough to take the lead on Bitvavo. Superverse combines crypto gaming and an NFT market on one blockchain.
Another notable coin on the list is XYO (XYO), which also tops the list with a 24-hour volume of €14 million (12% of the total volume). Last week it was number 5 according to Bitvavo. This project is an Oracle network that needs to securely store location information.

Solana is declining, Terra Classic is more popular than Bitcoin
It is also noticeable that terra classic (LUNA) is in second place. This puts it higher in the weekly list than Bitcoin (BTC), which has to settle for third place and 7% of the total volume. This could be related to the extradition of Terra co-founder Do Kwon to the US and South Korea. Kwon was on the run but was arrested in Montenegro.
Just below Bitcoin is Solana (SOL), which accounts for 5% of volume. Solana has enjoyed great popularity in recent months: in mid-November, the coin exceeded Bitcoin’s trading volume by a factor of 5. The popularity was also reflected in large inflows for Solana exchange funds.
