The current Thermomix TM6 is powerful but expensive. Even if the TM6 will remain current for at least a year, the current price of 1,399 euros (from January 7, 2024: 1,499 euros) is likely to be too high for many prospective buyers. But there are alternatives, for example the predecessor Thermomix TM5 as a refurbished example.
A dealer on Ebay is currently selling the Vorwerk Thermomix TM5 Refurbished with Varoma with a sliding board, but without a cook key for 729.90 euros. This Thermomix TM5 is so cheap because, firstly, it is a processed old device and secondly it is linked to a voucher campaign.

Vorwerk introduced the TM5 in 2014. Despite its age, the TM5 is still a real Thermomix and makes working in the kitchen much easier.
