There may be clash between PSL and IPL, there may be clash on 2025 dates

There may be a competition between the biggest cricket league, IPL and PSL which is played in Pakistan. In fact, there may be a clash between these two leagues in 2025. Between the Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan and the busy domestic cricket season, there is every chance of a clash of dates between these two major leagues.

In fact, the Indian Premier League, the largest league in the world that takes place in India, starts in the month of March and lasts until the first weeks of June. It lasts about two and a half months. At the same time, the Pakistan Super League to be held in Pakistan is played in the month of January and February. But in the month of February 2025, Pakistan has to host the ICC Champions Trophy. Therefore, the Pakistan Cricket Board will have to change the PSL to the March-May window.

Let us tell you that after almost 30 years, any ICC tournament will be held in Pakistan. Actually, Pakistan has to host the ICC Champions Trophy in the year 2025. For a long time now, due to security reasons, no team from Pakistan has refused to go play. However, in the international cricket matches of 2023-2027, Pakistan also has to host 13 Tests, 26 ODIs and 27 T20 matches.

At the same time, this will also be the first time that the Pakistan Super League and the Indian Premier League will compete. If the dates of the two leagues collide, it will be interesting to see which league the players would prefer to play in.
