There is no change in the West Indies team for the second test, the command will remain in the hands of the veteran

The West Indies have not made any changes to their squad for the second test against Bangladesh from Friday. The West Indies took a 1-0 lead in the two Test series after recording a seven-wicket victory in the opening Test at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound.

Fast pitcher Kemar Roach was named ‘Man of the Game’ in the opening game. In the first game, he posted 7/74, where he took 5 wickets for 53 runs in the second inning. He has achieved the feat of 249 wickets in his career, putting him in sixth place with the great Michael Holding. He is also the leading bowler from the West Indies at 8th position in the ICC Test Match Bowling Rankings.

The West Indies are also expected to win in the second test. Cricket West Indies chief selector Desmond Haynes said: “The team won the first match in Antigua. However, they now hope to sweep Bangladesh. The team played well and went to St. Lucia for the second match. You must feel confident to play.”

Currently, Kemar is the main bowler for the West Indies team. Haynes further said of the bowler: “Kemar is a legend. He has done well for the West Indies and is off to a great start in his career, he is the main bowler for the team.”
