The electrical contest continues in 2023 With its mission to raise awareness about the problems of climate change and after two years marked by the pandemic, which also conditioned the destinations of the competition, they introduce new locations that set the number of appointments for the next course in five, repeating the number of races held in a 2022 that has yet to crown its champions.
The last battle of 2022 will be held in Uruguay (from November 26 to 27), one of the scenarios that precisely falls off the list for next year, which will close the championship in Chile (with dates yet to be confirmed). But until that moment is reached, as usual, the teams will give lWelcome to the new course in Saudi Arabia from March 11 to 12 with a Desert X Prix that remains immovable in a calendar where the first novelty will come just after the opening race. The championship returns to the UK to visit Scotland for the first time (May), before returning to compete in Sardinia (July), a fixed test of the contest that will remain on the scene for at least one more year.
The European territory will be left behind after the visit to the island and the Odyssey 21 will put heading to america to close the course. The fourth of the five scheduled tests has not yet defined its location, with USA and Brazil as candidates to host the race (in September), but news will soon arrive about another new date that intends to live up to its predecessors to give way to a season “even more exciting” than all those lived up to now, as he tells an Alexander Agag, CEO and founder of Extreme E, who with his visit to the United Kingdom will take the event to the “birthplace of high-level motorsport”.
