The Zaaf will not run the Women’s Tour after the rout in the team

The dream of the Zaaf cycling team continues to dissolve like a sugar cube as the weeks go by. After its brokerage default issues came to light, the team entered into a crisis that meant the departure of runners like Audrey Cordon-Ragot and that made The cyclists were free to look for other teams, as AS has already announced.

In the absence of official confirmation, the Zaaf team will not take the start in the next Women’s Tour of Spain (May 1-7), race for which the team had received an invitation, as confirmed by the organization to AS.

From the Zaaf they have made this decision after staying with only seven riders in the team and, despite the fact that they could compete with them, they have decided to resign to try to solve internal problems within the team to avoid the early end of one of the latest projects in Spanish women’s cycling.
