The women’s volleyball team prepares for the South American

The Argentine team women’s volleyball will return this Wednesday to training at Cenard, to begin his preparation for the South American Championship in Colombia, between September 15 and 19.

After his second consecutive participation in the Olympic Games, The Panthers returned from Tokyo, they met the preventive isolation and they had a few days off. The practices will be retaken at the National Center for High Performance in Núñez.

Coach Hernan Ferraro summoned 17 players for the last match of the season, the South American in Barrancabermeja, with two places for the 2022 World Cup. They are Victoria Mayer, Sabrina Germanier, Erika Mercado, Bianca cugno (Argentine top scorer of the U19 World Cup), Mariángeles Cossar, Yamila Nizetich, Angeles Ligorria, Daniela Bulaich, Candela Salinas, Brenda Churin, Agostina Pelozo, Tatiana Rizzo, Martina Castro, Julieta Holzmaisters, Emilce Sosa, Bianca Farriol and Brenda Graff.

The South American will also have the participation of Brazil (Olympic runner-up in Tokyo 2020), Chile, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela, and will serve as a qualifier for the World Championship (it will distribute two places).

The Panthers will train in the afternoon and alternate double shift days, a little less than a month before the regional competition to which Ferraro will take 14 players.
