The Women’s Race is now a Sustainable Sports Event

The Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and Banco Santander, sponsor of the Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race, delivered the Sustainable Sports Event Seal to the Madrid event that brought together 18,000 women in the capital of Spain, informs the COE in a statement. This initiative aims to highlight and differentiate those sporting events in which actions are undertaken that promote sustainable development and achieve awareness among Spanish society through sporting events.
