The volleyball team goes for recovery

The Argentine men’s volleyball team will begin this Tuesday the third week of competition in the discipline Nations League (VNL) when they face Canada from 6 o’clock in the Japanese city of Osaka, where the albiceleste cast will complete three other commitments until on Sunday.

The team led by DT Marcelo Méndez comes from starring in the second leg of the contest, in Quezon City (Philippines), where he won a win (against China) and three losses (Japan, Slovenia and the Netherlands).

Argentina, bronze medalist at the last Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020, will face Canada and then face Australia (Friday, at 00:40), France (Saturday, 00:40) and the United States (Sunday, 00:40).

The albiceleste team occupies the twelfth position, with 8 units, after a 2-6 record. The tournament leaders are France and Poland with 21 points and a 7-1 record, followed by Italy (6-2) 19; Japan (6-2) 18; and United States (6-2) 17.
