Air Liquide has announced a long-term agreement to supply ultra-high purity hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide to one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers. As part of this agreement, the French group plans to invest nearly 60 million US dollars (approximately 50 million euros) to build and operate production units and systems that the Group will hold on a new production site in Phoenix, Arizona. Commissioning is scheduled for the second half of 2022.

ID Logistics

ID Logistics has unveiled its activity figures for the fourth quarter. Turnover amounted to 549.6 million euros, up 21%. The increase came to 18.8% like-for-like. The contract logistics group ended the 2021 financial year with a turnover of 1.91 billion, up 16.3% (+17% like-for-like), after a year 2020 which had already seen a good level. growth at +7.1%.


McPhy, a specialist in zero-carbon hydrogen production and distribution equipment, announced 2021 turnover of 13.1 million euros, down 4.4%. The operating result for the 2021 financial year is expected to be around -25 million euros. The increase in the operating loss is notably linked to the structuring projects necessary for the transition to an industrial scale currently being deployed.

The impact of exchange rate fluctuations on the group’s turnover was -1.4%.

Somfy’s turnover amounted to 1.48 billion euros for the 2021 financial year, up 17.6% compared to the previous financial year (+15.7% like-for-like). It increased by 41.5% in the first half, before falling by 2.2% in the second on atypical bases of comparison in 2020 (decline in the first half and strong recovery in the second). Compared to the 2019 financial year, which was not affected by the pandemic, the activity of the specialist in blinds and roller shutters posted an increase of 23.1% in real terms, testifying to the dynamism of the market.
