The Valencia marathon celebrates the act of brotherhood with the Valencian elite clubs

As every year, when the date of the marathon approaches, the twinning act with the elite clubs is celebrated. The president of Levante, Quico Catalán, the corporate director of Valencia CF, Javier Solís, the CEO of Villarreal, Fernando Roig Negueroles and Víctor Luengo, director of external relations for Valencia Basket. In this way, the clubs with the largest social mass in the provinces of Valencia and Castellón were represented. For part of the test, the person in charge of staging this union was Vicente Sanz, vice president of SD Correcaminos, organizer of the race together with the Valencia City Council.

On December 4 at 8:15 a.m. the starting signal will be given to a new edition of the Valencia Marathon, which this year celebrates number 42 and has been called the “Marathon of marathons”. The All in One office of Caixabank in Valencia has been the place chosen for the presentation of this event where the top managers of the elite clubs have delivered a personalized team shirt with the name of the event, with the presence of Felipe Pulido, commercial director of CaixaBank Companies in the Valencian Community.

The Correcaminos Sports Society organizes the marathon together with the Valencia City Council. Vicente Sanz, vice president of the company, showed himself “very proud” that the test grows year after year and thanked “the support of the clubs”.

Quico Catalán has promised that one day he will run the marathon, but “this year will not be”. From Levante we want to congratulate you for everything you do for the sport”, said Catalán who added that “I hope it will become, in the future, the best marathon in the world”.

Javier Solis He also wanted to thank the invitation and said that “It is a pride to share the name of the test with that of the club” Also, cheer on the runners because they will be cheering at kilometer 17, when they pass through Mestalla.

The event closed with a group photo demonstrating the brotherhood that exists between all the elite clubs and the Valencia marathon.
