The Ultimate Pan American will be held in Cap Cana

The World Frisbee Federation and Cap Cana announced that the WFDF Pan American Ultimate Championship for world lovers of the renowned self-referenced sport of Ultimate will be held in the destination city of Cap Cana, from Tuesday, November 28 to Saturday, December 2, this year 2023 where more than 1,600 players will participate in five different divisions (Open (male), Female, Mixed (male and female), as well as Open, Female and Mixed masters.

The Ultimate Pan American Championship is a high-level international sports competition, represented by teams from sports clubs and national teams from the Pan American continent. This event is held biannually.

The most recent Pan American Championship was held in 2019 in Sarasota, Florida in November 2019, and this year it was resumed after the pandemic by the Dominican federation to take place at the hands of the sports city that operates in Cap Cana.

On this occasion, the participating countries will be Argentina, Canada, the Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, the United States, Uruguay, the US Virgin Islands and Venezuela.

To date, 6 editions of the Ultimate Pan American Championship have been held, in 2011 in Medellín, Colombia; 2013 in Sao Paulo, Brazil; 2015 Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico; 2017 in Cañuelas, Argentina, and 2019 in Sarasota, Florida.
