In the last few hours Transfermarkt, the renowned website specializing in the valuation of footballers, has caused a stir in the world of football by updating the market value of most of the players in the Spanish First Division. The biggest news, however, comes from Valencia CF, where two young talents have seen a significant increase in value in just two and a half months. These players are Yarek and Mosquera, two youth players who are now on the rise with a market value of 10 million euros each.
The most amazing thing about this story is that both players have experienced impressive “value growth” in a relatively short period of time. The last update of their values on Transfermarkt was on October 13th, when Yarek had a market value of 1 million euros and Mosquera was worth 2 million. Since then, Yarek has increased its value tenfold, while Mosquera has increased it fivefold.
The 18-year-old Yarek’s rise is attributed to his outstanding performances at Valencia CF, where he played six league games, although only two of them as a starter. Furthermore, his impressive performance with the Spanish U-19 national team, where he scored a hat-trick, has contributed significantly to his increase in value. For his part, Mosquera has started 13 of Valencia CF’s last 14 games and has shown great quality on the field.
Problems for next summer
The level of these two youth players is very high and that is good news but also bad news for Valencia as many big clubs have their eyes on these players and there will be proposals for them in the next markets. Given the situation at the Che club, everything suggests that Peter Lim would be willing to listen to any good offer for one of his players.
