Juventus are close to securing a double signing in January. The Italian club is rumored to be interested in Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek, both from Manchester United. Speculation over Sancho’s future is increasing as the attacker is set to leave Old Trafford in January following his row with coach Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag excluded Sancho from the team due to poor training performances, while the player claimed in a statement that he was a “scapegoat”. With his place in the first team completely eliminated, a January exit seems inevitable for both parties. On the other hand, Van de Beek is also looking for a fresh start after admitting he needs to leave Old Trafford to revive his career.
Juventus wants to strengthen its squad at the expense of Manchester United
According to reports from TEAMtalk, Juventus is preparing a strategy for both players, although it is unclear whether it will be loan deals or permanent transfers. There is speculation that the offer for Sancho could be around £30 million, with the possibility of a loan deal with an obligation to buy for Van de Beek at the end of the season.
Although Sancho has been linked with other clubs, including his former club Borussia Dortmund, rumors of a move to Juventus have gained momentum recently. The Italian team appears to be leading the race for the English attacker, whose performance at Manchester United has been less impressive than expected with 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances.
Van de Beek, on the other hand, has struggled to find his place at Old Trafford since arriving in 2020, making just two appearances this season. Juventus could offer the Dutchman the opportunity to revive his career. However, other clubs such as Galatasaray and Newcastle United have also been linked with moves for the midfielder in January. The winter transfer window could mark a new chapter for these two talented Manchester United players.
