The Tour of Antalya, suspended after the earthquake in Turkey

The world is still shocked by the news of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale that has devastated numerous municipalities in the vicinity of the city of Gaziantep and also numerous towns in Syria very close to the border with Turkey.

As a result of the severity of the earthquake, which has already left nearly 500 dead in Syria and 900 in Turkey, several sporting events have already proposed their suspension because of the catastrophe that has happened in the country.

One of these tests is the Tour of Antalya, scheduled from February 9 to 12. and that the organization has decided to cancel because of the earthquake.

The organization of the test has confirmed the suspension of the test with a statement in which it sends a message of encouragement to all those who have been affected by the tremor. “Get well soon! We wish God’s mercy for our citizens who lost their lives due to the earthquake felt in many of our cities. Our condolences to their families and a speedy recovery to the injured.”
