The Saudi General Authority Statistics has released a report on the number of Hajj pilgrims from home and abroad this year.
According to the report, the total number of pilgrims this year was less than 900,000 which was 899,353.
The Saudi General Authority says it includes pilgrims from abroad and inside the country. This year, the number of pilgrims coming from abroad for Hajj was 779,919.
One lakh 19 thousand 434 were citizens from within the country and foreigners living here.
Hajj member Arafat Azam was completed after which the pilgrims listened to the sermon and asked for prayers. The next phase of the pilgrims started their journey towards Muzdalifah.
Pilgrims will spend the night in the open air in Muzdalifah, collecting pebbles.
