In what appears to be a battle of titans in the transfer market, Liverpool, PSG, Bayern Munich and Manchester City have joined the race for the services of young PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko.
Manchester City have reportedly shortlisted Bakayoko as a potential transfer target, expanding the list of teams interested in the talented 20-year-old.
Bakayoko, in the sights of the big boys
Bakayoko’s performance in the Eredivisie and Champions League has been impressive this season, contributing five goals and nine assists in 26 appearances. His ability to get off balance and create chances has made him one of the most sought-after targets on the market.
Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also considering a move for Bakayoko before next season. With his current contract expiring in 2026, the young Belgian appears to be on track for a transfer this summer.
After turning down a record offer from Brentford last summer, Bakayoko continued his development at PSV and established himself as a leading figure in the team. With several European giants now following in their footsteps, their future appears to be hanging in the balance in an exciting battle between some of the continent’s best clubs.
