The third wave of Russian attacks in the last 24 hours leaves one dead in kyiv

Kiev (BLAZETRENDS).- Strong explosions rocked the Ukrainian capital for the third consecutive night as a result of a new Russian attack, the third in the last 24 hours, with 20 kamikaze drones that caused the death of at least one person, reported the mayor of Kiev, Vitalii Klychko, on his Telegram account.

All the drones were shot down once again by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defenses, according to the report of the regional Military Administration, but the remains of some of the unmanned devices fell after the interception on residential areas, causing damage to homes and private vehicles.

According to Mayor Klychko, four people were injured and have been hospitalized and 20 residents of a block of flats in one of the affected areas of the capital were evacuated after the debris of a drone caused a fire in the building.

Moscow suffers a drone attack that causes damage to several buildings, according to its mayor

The Russian capital suffered a drone attack today that caused “minor damage” to several buildings, the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, said today in a statement posted on his Telegram account.

“Early this morning, a drone attack caused minor damage to several buildings. All the city’s emergency services are at the scene,” Sobyanin wrote.

The mayor indicated that so far no one has been seriously injured and that the circumstances of what happened are being investigated.

This is the most serious attack against Moscow since the one that Russia denounced on the night of May 2 against the Kremlin, also with drones, and that the Russian leadership directly attributed to Ukraine.

According to Sobianin, for security reasons, the emergency services evacuated the residents of several entrances of two buildings that were hit by one of the drones.

“Immediately after the work of the special services ends, the residents will be able to return to their apartments,” he said.

The official RIA Novosti agency reported that it was on Profsoyuznaya street, in the southwest of the capital, where the impact was recorded.
“There are no victims. A temporary facility has been opened to accommodate them in a school” in the same city, the prefecture of the southwestern district of Moscow told the agency.

The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobiov, said for his part that this morning residents of the province could hear the sounds of explosions due to the operation of the air defense system.

“Several drones were shot down as they approached Moscow,” he said.

Both the governor and the mayor asked citizens to remain calm.

“Only trust official sources and do not distribute unverified information,” Sobyanin stressed.
