Acting Mayor of Kabul Hamdullah Nomani has announced that whoever commits corruption will face Sharia law.
After taking charge, the acting mayor of Kabul said that corrupt people will be dealt with under Sharia law. There is no scope for corruption.
Hamdullah Nomani said that long term plans for local bodies are under consideration. In the past, large scale corruption has been committed which has been forgiven.
He stressed that the shopkeepers of Kabul should pay taxes or extortion to anyone and after the formation of the new government, a law on taxes would be framed.
It should be noted that the acting mayor of Kabul, Hamdullah Nomani, is also the head of the Taliban’s local government commission.
