The Taliban announced a general amnesty

A statement issued by the Taliban said that a general amnesty was being offered to Afghan officers and soldiers and that no one would be retaliated against after entering Kabul.

The Afghan Taliban said Kabul’s hospitals and emergency services will not be stopped due to the Karuna situation.

Abdullah Abdullah’s appeal to the Taliban

Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah has confirmed that Ashraf Ghani has left Afghanistan. In his video message, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah used the word “former president” for Ashraf Ghani.

The Afghan chief executive said that the people of Afghanistan should remain calm and Afghan forces should cooperate to ensure security, adding that the Taliban should set aside some time for talks before entering Kabul.

On the other hand, the Taliban have ordered the militants to enter Kabul after the siege of the Afghan capital.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said militants had been ordered to enter Kabul to prevent looting. He said that people should not fear the Taliban. Afghan forces are leaving checkpoints .Û”
