In the last few hours a rumor has emerged from Spain that is shaking the football world, mentioning a possible transfer proposal between Sevilla and Lazio. The Andalusians have reportedly offered talented Argentine winger Lucas Ocampos in exchange for Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada.
Italian newspaper Il Messaggero reported on this story, but also noted the negative reaction from Lazio sporting director Igli Tare, who stated: “None of this is real, nobody is going to move. This summer we built a project and we believe in it completely.
Lazio are still hoping for a permanent resurgence for Kamada, who moved to the Roman club from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer. However, the chances of him staying in Rome next season seem slim. An automatic contract extension is unlikely as his current contract expires in June.
The Japanese would agree to the change
Additionally, Daichi Kamada has expressed interest in playing in the Spanish league at some point in his career, making his future uncertain. On the other hand, Lucas Ocampos, a former Milan and Genoa player, does not fit the age parameters sought by Lazio as the Italian club aims to modernize its squad with younger players.
