Dubai: The steps of the Eiffel Tower reached Dubai, where they were unveiled at Expo 2020.
According to the details, a part of the main stairs of the Eiffel Tower was unveiled at the ceremony held at Al-Farsan Park in Expo 2020 Dubai on Friday.
When the Eiffel Tower was opened to the public at the Expo on March 31, 1889, 132 years ago in Paris, this historic part of the staircase was used to climb to the top of the tower, and only 4 years later An elevator was installed in its place.
Interestingly, the steps of the historic Tower of Horizons in France have traveled from Paris to many places, and now they have reached Dubai.

Nathalie Kennedy, France’s Consul General in Dubai, said she was “delighted” to see a section of the Eiffel Tower right next to the Al Wasl Dome.
Al-Khatib said that this is a piece of history which is now also a specimen of art.
