The Spanish rhythmic gymnastics team shines at the World Cup in Portimao

The Spanish rhythmic gymnastics team closed its participation in the Portimao World Cup this Sunday with a very positive balance in which two medals and four finals stand out.

The greatest success for the Spanish team came in the general team classification, where the group formed by Inés Bergua, Salma Solaun, Mireia Martínez, Ana Arnau and Patricia Pérez took the gold after adding a total of 64,500 points, of which 34,000 arrived in the hoops exercise and 30,500 in the ribbons and balls exercises.

The other great success for the Spanish team came in the apparatus final, where Spain took the silver medal with 34,450 points, only surpassed by Brazil, who took the gold with a score of 34,600.

Good performance also by Lucía González and Cristina Korniychuk in their respective individual finals. González finished fourth in the club final with a score of 28,850 points, while Korniychuk finished seventh in the ball final with 29,500 points.
