The ship laden with the most expensive vehicles sank in the sea

The world’s most expensive cargo ship from Germany to the United States sank in the North Atlantic.

Twenty-two lucky crew members, including the captain, had been rescued before the sinking of the Flescati S cargo ship.

The cargo ship was on its way to the United States from Port Aiden, Germany, when it caught fire on February 16. The cargo on board was not ordinary goods but the world’s most expensive 4,000 vehicles worth about Rs 27 billion.

According to the luxury car maker Bentley, they had 189 new vehicles on board, while Porsche said they had 1,100 loaded on the sinking ship.

The vehicles were to be transported from Germany to Rhode Island in the United States, where they would be delivered to customers, but the ship slowly sank during the voyage.

According to a BBC report, all these vehicles were insured and the Volkswagen company has confirmed that the insurance value of these vehicles will be 116 million British pounds.

Following the incident, the Portuguese navy said the crew was evacuated with the help of four merchant planes and Portuguese air crew to a nearby hospital.
