The shadow of Kovid-19 in European football continues to deepen. Ten players from Spain’s famous soccer club, Barcelona, tested positive. At the same time, the match between Leicester and Norwich in England has been postponed. Barcelona will return to the Spanish league on Sunday after a two-week break, but all their infected players will not be able to play in this match.

According to Barcelona, Sergio Dest, Philippe Coutinho and Abde are the three new players who have been found positive for Kovid-19. All three are currently in isolation and, according to the team, are in good health. The club announced earlier this week that Usman Dembele, Samuel Umtiti, Gavi, Jordi Alba, Alexandro Balde, Clement Lenglet and Dani Alves have all tested positive, after which they have been isolated. Some of Barcelona’s players are also injured, raising questions about their game against Mallorca on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Norwich’s Premier League match against Leicester on Saturday was postponed after several players from the Norwich team were ruled out due to infection or injury to Kovid-19. This is the 17th Premier League match in the last month that had to be postponed.
