Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) has arrested Mainul Ahsan Noble, famous singer of ‘Saregamapa’. After his arrest, he was taken to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Intelligence Division (DB) office.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner (Detective) Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid told the media today at 11:15 a.m. that his wife has a complaint against Noble. There is also a case against him.
Before this, a case was filed against Noble at Motijheel police station in the capital for allegedly stealing 1 lakh 72 thousand rupees without going to the event. On May 17, the court accepted the statement in the form of a case.
According to the complaint of the case, the first reunion of the SSC batch 2016 of Shariatpur’s Vedarganj Headquarters Pilot High School was organized on April 28.
Earlier, the event was held in the cultural program on the occasion of the 50th anniversary and Golden Jubilee of Phulbari Degree College, Kurigram, in the words of artist Nobel. Spectators threw shoes and water bottles at him. Such actions of singer Nobel instantly went viral on social media and caused a storm of criticism.
In an interview given to a local newspaper at that time, Noble admitted to drinking alcohol and said, “Before going on stage, you need to drink a little alcohol for relaxation, a little alcohol to go into the fillings.” I didn’t go to the point of drinking too much alcohol.
In addition, his ex-wife Salsabil said that she divorced Noble because he did not give up drugs. Salsabil wrote, ‘I may not have cleared the matter earlier as we both decided to put the divorce registration on hold by telling the lawyer. But even after some recent events when Nobel and I talk I ask him one last time about getting off drugs and getting treatment. He makes it clear that he will never give up drugs and says – If I had quit, I would have quit earlier. After that I completed my divorce registration in my family decision.’
