The SBC team wins gold in the world bowling tournament in Panama

Dominican bowling, represented by the Sebelén Bowling Center team once again raised the country high by winning the gold medal in the sixth World Open Bowling Championship, in Panama, with the participation of more than 150 players, representing different nations. Event dedicated to Rolando Sebelén and Miguel-Tuto-Marcial.

The Dominican representation dressed in glory, by winning the gold medal in the senior men’s scratch category, made up of the immortal Rolando Sebelén, his sons Rolly and Rolando Antonio, as well as José Pérez.

In the category that the SBC participated in, a total of 13 quatrains from different countries gathered in search of the first places. It was also played in other categories in the modality of quatrains from other nations.

The round included 12 games each bowling, the combined SBC, added a total of 9,263 pins, where Rolando threw 1,905; Rolly, 2,386; Rolando Antonio, 2,404 and José Pérez, 2,568.

At the end, the awards ceremony was held, where the Dominicans received great applause from those present, for the great performance in this category, in addition to the fact that the SBC team was made up of Sebelén, her two sons and José Reyes.

Sebelén dedicates victory to RD

At the end of the award ceremony, the veteran player Rolando Sebelén dedicated the gold medal to the Dominican fans, especially to the bowling alley.

“This victory is the result of great training, to arrive prepared and perform well,” said Sebelén.

The veteran bowler thanked the organizers for dedicating a world tournament to him, together with his friend Miguel-Tuto-Marcial, from Puerto Rico.
