The Saudi Supreme Court annulled the decision of the Masjid-ul-Haram crane accident

Riyadh: The Saudi Supreme Court annulled all decisions related to the 2015 crane accident.

According to the Saudi media, the First Circuit of the Supreme Court has ordered a re-trial, annulling all the decisions of the crane incident case.

The Supreme Court’s decision also overturned the acquittal of several persons by the Criminal Circuit in the Court of Appeal a year ago.

The Supreme Court ordered a new judicial circuit to review the case. The court has informed the defendants, the appellate court and the competent authorities of the decision.

It should be noted that the incident of crane collapse in Masjid al-Haram took place on December 11, 2015 before the Hajj season, as a result of which 110 people died and 209 were injured, while Masjid al-Haram in Makkah was also damaged.
