The Samsung Galaxy S22 is expected to be presented in January 2022

While Samsung has just launched its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, the South Korean manufacturer is already in the starting blocks and will soon unveil its new range of flagships. The Galaxy S22 is expected to enter production in November 2021, with a presentation scheduled for January 2022.

According to information from the TheElec site, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should roll off production lines in September 2021. The “affordable” version of the Galaxy S21 should therefore emerge very soon, some rumors reporting a presentation September 8th.

For its part, the production of Galaxy s22 should start in November 2021. If we stick to this schedule, the S22 will be presented in January 2022, for marketing the same month, or early February.

Samsung is expected to unveil the S22 early next year, similar to the S21 in 2021

If Samsung has long taken advantage of the pre-MWC period to unveil its new flagships, the manufacturer has abandoned this tradition for a few years. In 2021, Samsung also unveiled its Galaxy S21 on January 14, to market them on the 29 of the same month. The rumor according to which the manufacturer would start production of its flagships in November and unveil them 2 months later therefore seems to be true.

As usual, it is likely that Samsung will unveil 3 new models in its Galaxy S range: the S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra. Some information is already starting to leak, especially with regard to the photo capabilities of the devices. It is about a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra wide-angle and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The S22 and S22 + should also benefit from a 3x optical zoom, which already benefited the S21 Ultra (but not the S21 or the S21 +).

On the display side, we already know everything: we would thus be entitled to a 6.06 ″ screen for the S22, a 6.55 ′ screen for the S22 + and a 6.81 ″ screen for the S22 Ultra. Autonomy would be provided by batteries ranging from 3800 to 5000 mAh depending on the model. Finally, Samsung intends to abandon its Exynos 2200 in favor of a Snapdragon 898. Something to delight fans of Qualcomm SoCs.
