Bayern Munich are on the lookout for a quality replacement for Benjamin Pavard and appear to have found the right man in Kenny Tete, Fulham’s Dutch full-back, according to reports from England.
Benjamin Pavard’s imminent departure, who has been looking for a change of scenery all summer, is on the verge of reality with his move to Inter Milan for around 30 million euros. Faced with this situation, Bayern Munich are preparing to fill the void left by the French defender.
The right-back that Bayern wants to replace Pavard
According to The Sun, Bayern have Kenny Tete in their sights as one of the main targets to strengthen their right-back. Tete, who is currently on a contract with Fulham until 2024, could be up for sale if an irresistible offer arrives for the London club.
Tete’s market value is over €15m, according to TransferMarkt and with his current contract only having one year left Fulham could consider an offer in the region of €20m a decent deal.
Kenny Tete is known for his versatility and defensive skills, making him an attractive candidate to strengthen Bayern Munich’s defence. Tete’s possible arrival at Bayern would be an important step in the team’s planning for next season and will certainly be closely watched by the Bavarian club’s supporters as the transfer market develops.
