New Delhi: Tourists going for sightseeing in a national park in India faced a terrifying situation when a rhino started chasing their vehicle.

The video, which went viral on the social networking website Twitter, was posted by Indian forest officer Praveen Kisun on his account.

The video is from Kaziranga National Park in the Indian state of Assam.

In the video, it can be seen that a rhinoceros is running madly behind an open car of tourists. The terrified voices of the tourists are also included in the video.

The rhinoceros chased the vehicle for about 1 km, luckily none of the tourists were injured in the incident.

It should be noted that Kazi Ranga National Park covering an area of ​​1,900 square kilometers is a part of the Brahmaputra River, forests and wetlands that are home to hundreds of striped tigers, elephants and other wildlife.

This national park also has the largest population of rhinoceros in the world, the number of rhinoceros present here is 2,613.
