In the complaint, he said that Sandeep Singh and Anand Pandit contacted him to invest in Prime Minister Modi's biography in 2019. Furthermore, he claimed that after the film's release, he will get first clawback rights to recoup his investment. After this assurance from Anand and Sandeep, Acharya Manish took a big loan to invest Rs 14 million in the film.
Acharya Manish also said that the film grossed more than Rs 32 million upon its release. Despite this, Anand Pandit allegedly refused to pay them their dues. Furthermore, Anand is also said to have threatened him to take legal action.
