Moscow: The spokesman of Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the plan to recruit more soldiers in the army has been postponed.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement that the decision to postpone the project was made to reduce the excessive burden on the system.
A Russian presidential spokesman said the decision would make it easier to separate the flow of emergency and routine recruitments, as military registration and enlistment offices are currently overburdened by recent military recruitments.
It should be noted that on September 30, the representative of the Main Organization and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Rear Admiral Vladimir Tasmilyansky, said that the military recruitment plan has nothing to do with the special operation in Ukraine.
Recall that earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced the recruitment of partially mobilized troops on September 21.

He stressed that only those citizens currently in reserve would be subject to military service, and above all those who had served in the Russian Armed Forces or those who had specific military Qualifications and relevant experience, will be eligible for this emergency military recruitment.
