The Pixel Fold can be seen on video before its official announcement

It’s not uncommon for images of Google products to be leaked before their official launch. Now a video appears Pixel bending.

We’ve already seen renderings and even real images of the Pixel Fold. Today’s video offers us the best image of Google’s first foldable smartphone, although he omits some details.

The video was posted by developer Kuba Wojciechowski, known for leaking details about unreleased Pixel phones. The video matches previous reports and the chances of being authentic are high.

The internal screen, which according to leaks is a 7.6-inch, 120 Hz OLED panel, it has sizable top and bottom bezels, with the top one housing the supposed 8 MP camera. The screen was blanked, presumably to hide any information that might reveal the identity of the person behind the leak.

When it’s on, the screen doesn’t seem to have creases, but when it’s not active, we can see a slight crease. The device folds, implying that it uses a waterdrop hinge.

We can also see the external screen, which appears to be 5.8 inches, but is turned off. It appears to have slimmer bezels and there’s a hole punch for the supposed 9.5 MP camera.

Other than that, the video also shows off the physical fingerprint reader and volume buttons, as well as a glimpse of the edge of the horizontal camera bar that will house the three rear cameras (48MP main + 10.8MP ultrawide + telephoto). 10.8 MP with 5x Optical Zoom).

The Pixel Fold has been the subject of numerous leaks in recent days. It’s possible that Google will release a teaser next week and will likely be announced on May 10th during Google I/Or alongside the budget Pixel 7a and Pixel Tablet. It is expected to hit shelves on June 27.

As for the dimensions, it’s expected to be wider than the Fold 4 but not as tall, meaning it won’t be narrow and cramped when folded and it won’t be square when unfolded. The phone is said to be heavier than the Fold 4, but that extra weight is apparently due to the Larger 5,000mAh battery.

The Pixel Fold will likely be powered by the Tensor G2 chip and the entry-level model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could cost $1,799.
