The Paralympics begin with 57 Argentine athletes

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will begin this Tuesday and will take place until September 5 in the Japanese capital, with the participation of 57 Argentine athletes.The delegation from Albiceleste will have the athlete Yanina Martínez and the judoka Fabián Ramírez.

In relation to the Olympic Games that took place weeks ago, Boccia and Goalball are the only two disciplines in the Paralympic program that did not have competition and will have it starting this Tuesday.

Tokyo will host the Paralympic Games for the second time in history: it already happened in 1964, before both modalities of the sport’s highest event began to be held in the same cities since 1988.
