The water of the Nile River in Egypt has suddenly changed color, causing fear and panic among the people there.

When Egyptians woke up on Tuesday, the water of the Nile River had suddenly changed color and the color of the flowing water was yellowish. The changing color of the river water frightened the residents and various rumors were born.

According to a foreign website, Egyptian Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel-Atti said that citizens should not be afraid about this.

Explaining the reason for the change in the color of the river water, the Minister of Irrigation said that the reason for the change in the color of the water of the Nile is the flood.

He said that due to heavy rains in the last several days in the country, flood rails have been released in the river and a large amount of soil and sand has been added in the flood water due to which the river water has turned gray.

The Minister of Irrigation clarified that the change in the color of the river does not affect the quality of water, the water of the Nile is still standard and suitable for drinking and irrigation.

He added that as soon as the floodwaters receded, the water of Nile River would return to its original color in the next two to three days.
