According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the next-gen iPad Pro will be the product’s first major update since 2018 and introduce “seasonal changes.”
The new models, apparently codenamed “J717”, “J718”, “J720” and “J721”, will be equipped with the Apple’s M3 silicon chip, OLED displays, and 11-inch and 13-inch size options.
Along with the major overhaul of the tablet itself, that became updated version of Magic Keyboard for the iPad will offer a larger trackpad and thus respond to criticism of the current model “It makes the iPad Pro feel even more laptop-like than the current configuration.”
The new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard are not expected to hit the market until spring or early summer of 2024. The major update to the lineup could boost Apple’s tablet sales next year.
