Reports of a bomb on an Egyptian airliner en route to Moscow frightened authorities, who called the plane back and landed it at Cairo Airport.
Foreign media reports According to the report, EgyptAir flight MS 729 was taken back to Cairo airport only 22 minutes after taking off from the Egyptian capital Cairo International Airport for Moscow.
Aviation officials said the passenger plane flew to the Russian capital at 2:11 p.m. local time, 22 minutes after the bomb was reported.
Upon receiving a report of a bomb in the passenger plane, Control Tow had instructed the pilot to land the plane back at Cairo Airport, after which security officials disembarked all passengers and searched the plane, but no explosives were found.
