Bollywood filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar recently responded to rumors that Bade Miyan’s remake Chote Miyan has been shelved. He denies the news.
“We are well on time in terms of preparations. If we keep working like this, we’ll start shooting at the end of this year or early next year. Then we will start in England”, said the director.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a remake of the 1998 original starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda. The main roles in the new version are played by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. This is the first time that these two gentlemen will work together.
The film is expected to hit theaters Christmas 2023.
Meanwhile, Ali Abbas Zafar is also working on a project with Shahid Kapoor and a superhero series with Katrina Kaif.
