The new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are now official

O Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro These are the new Google smartphones and bring interesting news in several aspects.

The new phones feature a fresh design, better cameras, Google’s first mobile processor, and software designed to take advantage of the hardware and deliver a seamless experience.

Pixel 6 has a Full HD + Smooth Display of 6.4 ″ with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the Pixel 6 Pro includes a Larger 6.7 ″ QHD + LTPO display with 120 Hz refresh rate.

Both phones have Gorilla Glass Victus at the front for protection from scratches, while the Pixel 6 swaps Gorrila Glass Victus for Gorilla Glass 6 for the glass back.

 

O Stressed Processorr is Google’s first smartphone chip. The SoC has 2 high performance cores, 2 medium performance cores and 4 high efficiency cores. It also has a 20-core GPU.

Compared to the Pixel 5, which has a Snapdragon 765G processor, Google claims that the Tensor chipset offers 80% faster CPU performance and 370% faster GPU performance.

The chip is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB of storage in Pixel 6 Pro, while Pixel 6 has 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Unsurprisingly, there’s no room for expansion for storage.

The Pixel 6s has a fingerprint reader on the display and a Titan M2 security chip. The Tensor chip also has an integrated security core that works with the Titan M2 to protect phones against attacks.

They have dual SIM support (one nano-SIM and one eSIM), WiFi 6E, stereo speakers, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a fingerprint resistant coating.

 

has a 5003 mAh battery inside the Pixel 6 Pro and a 4.614 mAh battery inside Pixel 6. Both devices support 30W wired fast charging, wireless fast charging (21W on Pixel 6 and 23W on Pixel 6 Pro using Pixel Stand) and reverse wireless charging.

They are not shipped with a charger. You can also charge wirelessly with a Qi-certified EPP charger, but charging speed will be limited to 12W.

The Pixel 6 series will run Android 12 standard and will receive 5 years of security updates.

Both phones have a 50 MP main camera with 82° field of view, aperture of f/1.85 and sensor size of 1/1.31″. We also found a 12 MP ultra wide angle camera f/2.2 with 114° field of view.

Google says the phones capture 2.5 times more light than the Pixel 5. The Pixel 6 Pro has a third rear camera: a 48 MP sensor with telephoto lens that provides 4x optical zoom. The front camera is an 11.1 MP sensor in the Pro model and an 8 MP sensor in the non-Pro variant.

The Pixel 6 series brings features like Unblur face, which combines photos from two different cameras to remove blur from faces when taking photos of fast-moving subjects such as children. magic rubber will remove unwanted objects and people from your photo.

There is also the Movement Mode, which detects whether there is a moving object in a photo, such as a moving vehicle or the wheels of a bicycle, and applies motion blur to the subject while keeping it sharp and in focus.

Another improvement is Real Tone, which is a better imaging algorithm that authentically replicates the subject’s skin tone.

 

Pixel 6 series price and availability

Pixel 6 is priced at $599 for the 128GB version and $699 for the 256GB version, while the Pixel 6 Pro costs 899 dollars for the 128GB version. Unfortunately, the phone will not be marketed in Spain until next year.
