Riyadh: The Saudi space agency has launched a new program to provide training in astronautics.

According to Arab media reports, the Saudi Arabian Space Commission (Saudi Space Agency) has launched a special program to provide astronaut training in the kingdom.

The report said that the new program, dubbed “Practice as an Astronaut,” aims to raise awareness of astronauts in society and prepare local youth as astronauts.

As part of the program, Saudis participating in the mission will be taught to live in space. The space agency says the program is launching in partnership with Sportsa Academy.

According to the program, activities will continue for four days, with the participation of children between the ages of 7 and 16, who will experience astronaut training in the indoor sports hall, the agency said.

It was also said that discipline would be instilled in astronauts and the graph of their aspirations would be raised, the program was made under the mission of preparing future engineers and astronauts.
