The national volleyball tour continues this weekend in Cabral

The municipality of Cabral, Barahona, will challenge this Saturday and Sunday to extend his unbeaten record and the gold medal hanging in organization to host the third stop of the Superior National Volleyball Tournament.

“We are working for that, not only have to win games, but to be the best venue of the tournament,” said the coach of the team, the national exselección Franklin -The Rock-Segura.

Since the beginning of the week, a brigade of workers has been painting and renovating different areas of the Cabral sports center, the scene of the matches.

The Laguneros de Cabral, with a record of 5-0, lead the men’s branch of the tournament organized by the Dominican Volleyball Federation (Fedovoli), chaired by Alexis García.

The representatives of Santiago and Bayaguana, Monte Plata, share the second position with

Santiago and Monte Silver have 2-4 and the National District 1-4.

Calero, meanwhile, leads the tournament checkers with 4-1. Bonao and San Cristobal follow with 2-3 record, while La Romana is in the basement with 0-5.

This will be the third leg of the national tour, which has four. The first took place at the multipurpose Calero, in the section of the ladies, and the Palace of Volleyball Gioriber Ricardo Arias, male.

The fourth and final day of the tournament will have to Santiago (female) and Bonao (male).
