New Delhi: A mysterious disease has claimed the lives of more than 50 children in India.
According to Indian media, hundreds of children were admitted to various hospitals in Uttar Pradesh with high fever, itchy hands and feet, severe joint pain, headache, nausea and dehydration.
Doctors have not yet been able to diagnose and determine the cause of the mystery, but the disease has killed more than 50 children in six districts.
Corona tests were also performed on children with severe symptoms, but no corona was confirmed in any of the children.
It should be noted that the second wave of corona is facing in India and many diseases including dengue are also spreading.
Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Manish Aseja claimed that more than 40 children had died of dengue in the district in the past one week and blamed the state health department and a local civic body for the tragedy.
However, Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh dismissed Asija’s claims and said no such report had been received.
It may be recalled that more than 40 children have died due to dengue in Ferozeabad from August 22 to 23. Tragic news of death of six children was also received this morning.
