In just four days, Shahrukh Khan’s Jawaan has achieved what most films have failed to do in their lifetime. The enthusiasm for the film overwhelmed the audience and despite the India-Pakistan match, large numbers of people flocked to the theaters to watch the film. With this, the film broke the record and collected Rs 80.1 million on Sunday. This includes the highest collection of 71.63 crores in Hindi version, 5 crores in Tamil and 3.47 crores in Telugu. Now the result of the Jawan Monday test has also arrived, which turned out very well.
- According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, ‘Jawaan’ collected Rs 30 crore on the fifth day of its release, i.e. the first Monday.
- This brings the total for the five days of ‘Jawaan’ to Rs 316.16 crore.
The film created history by crossing the 300 crore mark in just five days of its release. This also makes it the third Bollywood film to cross the 300 crore mark. However, “Jawaan” failed to break the record of “Gadar 2” with its first Monday results. In fact, ‘Gadar 2’ had collected Rs 38.7 million on its first Monday. However, ‘Jawaan’ has broken the first Monday record of ‘Pathan’. Pathan’s first Monday collection stood at Rs 26.5 crore.
