The Prosecutor’s Office of the state of Veracruz, in Mexico, announced on Tuesday the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the murder of journalist Yesenia Mollinedo Falconi and camerawoman Sheila Johana García.
Both professionals, employees of the El Veraz portal, were victims of a firearm attack on May 9 in the town of Cosoleacaque, in Veracruz. Mollinedo was taken to a hospital where she later died, while García would also have lost his life shortly after the shooting, according to local media reports at the time.
Now the Veracruz Prosecutor’s Office has reported the arrest of Antonio Jesús ‘N’, alias ‘El Mara’, who is charged with the crime of intentional homicide in the case of the death of both communication professionals.
