The Manuela Fundación Continental has officially become a UCI cycling team after completing all the bureaucratic processes with the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC) and the International Cycling Union (UCI).
The Granada team confirmed this Friday in a statement that it has already formalized the registration process with both organizations, allowing you to begin your journey in the professional competition cycling field.
The Manuela Fundación Continental currently has eleven runners in its ranks, which are Vicente Hernaiz Santamaría, Raúl Rota Rus, Daniel Jiménez, Joan Bennassar, Miquel Valls, Francisco Casaus Medina, Eduardo Pérez Landaluce, Erik Martorell, Isaac Cantón, Santiago Mesa and Franklin Chacón.
What’s more, maintains negotiations with several other cyclists with the aim of “forming a very balanced squad” that can “make war in the 2022 competitions”, indicated the team.
Manuela Fundación Continental’s debut as a UCI team will be on January 23 in the Classic Valencian Community 1969-GP Valencia.
