The Los Mina Games party culminates with great success

The competitions of the XVII Sports Games of Los Mina 2022, dedicated to the Dominican NCAA basketball player, Hansel Emmanuel Donato Domínguez, a native of the Los Minas neighborhood, culminated with great success and primacy honors for athletes from various clubs and sports leagues participants who took the best trophy in different categories of the disciplines of volleyball, baseball, basketball, male and female softball branches and boxing.

For 10 days, more than two thousand athletes representing more than 50 sports clubs and leagues from Los Mina, in addition to guests from other areas such as El Bonito, San Isdiro, Fendry del Ensanche Isabelita, CODA, Los Alcarrizos and San Luís , were involved in the great competition party, in addition to the participants in the recreation games.

Games Champions

In Volleyball, the great winner was the Mil Flores club that took the champion trophies in Mini-Voli and Youth; El Bonito (from San Isidro) took the crown in Infantile; In Adult Women, the CODA team, representative of Los Alcarrizos, was crowned while Los Frailes won the title of the best in Men.

The clubs Academia Toby in Mini-Voli, Fendry from the Isabelita expansion in the Children’s category, and San Lorenzo in Juvenile, in Adult Women and Men, were runners-up in those competitions. The volleyball discipline was coordinated by Professor Jesús Vessup.

In basketball, the Mini-Basket category, the Los Mina club won first place, after defeating Luz y Esfuerzo, 14 by 8 points, leaving the latter club as runner-up.

In U-17, the Leñeros de Los Mina, returned to their own rights by being crowned champions with a win over Framboyán, 45 by 32 points in the final series and in the Master division, the La Tribu team won the champion trophy by beating its similar from the Super-Childish set. Ronny Jáquez was the coordinator.

In men’s softball, coordinated by Eleuris Suriel, Los Primos made history of victory to be crowned champions, defeating their UAPA opponents by knockout, 15 runs to 2, while in FEMALE, coordinated by Marlennis Olivero, the softball players from El Bonito (San Luis) were the best, leaving their peers from San Lorenzo in second place, defeating them by knockout 13 laps by 2.

In baseball, the players from the Norma Díaz League took the champion trophy in the 13-14 age category, by beating the Ramírez League in the final series, 13 runs to 6. The Garabote Cubs were the best in the Little League division, by beating the Medina League 15 by 5 races and in 11-12 years, the boys from the Medina League responded by defeating the Liga Estrellas de Paula, one round to zero, to be crowned champions. In these categories, the coordinators were Antonio Paula and Lalo Rodrílguez. In Viejas Glorias baseball, Francisco Cabrera’s Las Estrellas team was champion, defeating 11 runs by 7 against Jhon de Gregorio’s Los Amigos (Nizao), who are the runners-up. That tournament was coordinated by Francisco López.

In boxing, the final results, the first place went to the boxers from Club Voluntad who won 9 gold medals, the second place went to the Julito López club with 8 gold medals, the third place with 4 gold medals and the fourth rung went to the Luís Sosa club with a gold medal. These competitions were coordinated by Carlos Cáceres (El Chino)
